INSTRUMENT RATING
While your private pilot training will prepare you to fly nearly anywhere you want to go, there is still one thing that will keep you on the ground...weather!
With your instrument rating, weather can be mitigated with proper planning and your flight can continue. You will learn to rely on your instruments, interpret their readings, and navigate to your destination, possibly without seeing any outside references!
With your CFII, you will log 40+ hours simulated or actual instrument flight, 50 hours cross country PIC time, and various cross country flights in the IFR system.
